The Proprietors

For nearly two decades, Ray & Ruthie Wilson have been helping the fine citizens of the Conyers community and cities all around the southeast part of the country say goodbye to loved ones with dignity and respect.   The couple met while they were both attending Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service.  And they have made it their calling to provide superior service to each and every family that calls on their expertise.

Ray Wilson was exposed to the funeral service industry as a teen through his family owned funeral home in Asheville, NC.  Prior to hanging a shutter at Premier Crematory LLC, he spent three years active duty in the US Navy and 6 years in the Naval Reserve.  He credits his military training and his ability to focus on each detail as one of the qualities that set him apart from the rest of his competition in the cremation industry.  Mr. Wilson takes great pride in making sure every family has the kind of service they desire and a service that respectfully and appropriately honors their loved ones’ memory.

Ray’s partner in life and at Premier Crematory LLC is his lovely wife, Ruthie Wilson.  A native of El Paso Texas, Ruthie’s calm and understanding demeanor helps families navigate the process and there’s no question that’s left unanswered in her approach to preparing for a service.  Ruthie’s work ethic and passion lead to numerous commendations and recognition as a reliable and dependable employee of the U.S. Postal Service.  From customer service to leadership to safety and security, Ms. Wilson understands what it takes to be successful in a service industry and retired from the Postal Service after a decorated 30-year career. 

 

Both Ray and Ruthie understand that the healing process can only begin after a family says good-bye in the way they see most fitting.  That’s why the intimate and tender approach of this family owned business keeps generations of families coming back to honor those who pass.  It has been our honor to serve the families of celebrities and dignitaries, as well as families from all types of nationalities, religions, and languages over our 18-year history. 

 

The Wilson Family continuously expresses their commitment to others and gives back to their community by being active members in a variety of organizations and making generous donations to various charities.  At Premier Crematory LLC,  we require honesty integrity and trust in everything we do and we take great pride in being a responsible business and good neighbor in our community.  Our dedication and service keeps us focused on caring for families and making sure that we deliver on each and every promise.
